Olivia’s App of the Week: Lumosity
Lumosity began as a website where you could boggle your brain, but had to pay a fee of up to $70 to use the service. Now, you can get the app on the app store, and still receive the same mind-bending exercises that you would on the website, but his time, for free!
The app Lumosity specializes in training your brain to become better at skills like memory, attention, and flexibility. Plus, you can keep track of your progress with the BPI (brain power index) chart on your Lumostiy app.
Three hand-picked games will be presented to you each day on the app, and they are surprisingly fun, even though they can be challenging. Such games include Speed Matching, Pinball Memory, and Brain Flexibility Exercises.
All of this aside, the best part about Lumosity is feeling the fantastic effects of it in your everyday life. By practicing every day, you really do feel that your brain is getting in shape, and you can think faster and remember more.
