The Start of The Angela’s Series
The Angela’s Series made their debuted last Monday with the screening of “He Named Me Malala”. Over 150 Sacred Heart Academy students attended.
Last summer all students were required to read the book “I Am Malala”.
“It was great way to bring back what we read over the summer and remind the student of the story and the impact it had on the world,” senior Alex Jaggers said.
This is only the beginning of the Angela’s Series. There will be upcoming speakers and film viewing says Dr. Cynthia Crabtree.
“The goal is to select topics that create opportunities for us to embrace diversity and become a more inclusive school district,” Dr. Crabtree said.
Dates and times for the upcoming screenings are to be announced.
