Madrigals beg, “A Toast is in Order!”
December 5 was an exciting evening for the madrigal choir, full of entertainment. Families, friends, and Sacred Heart staff were invited to attend and enjoy this special night. The event included a buffet, wassail, marvelous singing by the choir as a whole, and solos and duets.
Big Springs Country Club was transformed into the Castle Valkyrie, and King Donovan and Queen Hannah made their special appearance. Town Crier Mike Hennessy and Jester Eliza Burnett even got a few laughs out of the audience. Jill Schurman, Rozzana Thompson, and Elizabeth Huling all showcased their talent with the audience providing an evening full of music.
This event does not occur every year, but for those who were fortunate enough to attend it, were put in the Christmas spirit. The madrigal choir wishes all a Merry Christmas!
